Without an account

What you type and the actions you take are stored only on your device, in your browser. To generate a next step, your text is sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce a response. It is not used to train models.

With an account

Your actions, resets, check-ins, experiments, and Talk mode notes are stored in our database (Supabase), locked so that only your account can read them. When you sign up, anything stored on your device is moved into your account.

Product analytics

We record simple events (for example, “reset completed” or “action completed”) with a random device ID so we can tell whether KAROTI actually helps people take action. Events don't include the text you type. During early testing, the KAROTI team may review anonymized actions and feedback to improve the product.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't use manipulative notifications or streaks.
• We don't provide medical or mental-health treatment.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual actions and experiments in the app. To delete your account and everything in it, use the feedback form in the app (choose “Other”) or contact us, and we'll remove it.
